Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages and time-sensitive deliveries across Oakland using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures for all shipments
- Optimize daily routes to ensure on-time performance and fuel efficiency
- Inspect vehicles daily for safety compliance and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class C) or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 1 year delivery or professional driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Oakland streets and Bay Area geography
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
