Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, documents, and medical supplies across Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service with friendly, professional interactions
- Optimize routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Safeguard high-value or temperature-sensitive cargo per company protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Houston streets and surrounding areas
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for route navigation and communication
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Reliable personal vehicle or willingness to use company vehicle
