Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages and documents across Arlington and surrounding areas
- Plan optimized routes to ensure timely deliveries and maximize fuel efficiency
- Load/unload packages with care while maintaining accurate inventory records
- Provide exceptional customer service through clear communication and professional demeanor
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time navigation and delivery tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Arlington roadways and surrounding metropolitan areas
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Reliable transportation to/from designated depot location
- Pass background check and drug screening as required
