Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and medical supplies across San Diego using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules with real-time GPS tracking
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete accurate documentation and electronic proof-of-delivery
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize routes using advanced navigation systems to maximize efficiency
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years professional delivery or commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Pass background check and drug screening
