Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages across San Jose using company-provided vehicles
- Maintain precise delivery schedules while ensuring 99%+ on-time performance
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize routes and maintain real-time delivery updates
- Handle package documentation and proof-of-delivery systems with meticulous attention
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience or equivalent training
- Ability to lift packages up to 50lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic technology
- Strong time management skills and route optimization capabilities
- Excellent communication and customer service aptitude
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
