Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and medical supplies using company vehicles
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and GPS tracking records
- Provide exceptional customer service during residential and commercial deliveries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet SLAs
- Communicate delivery status updates via mobile app and phone
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) preferred
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding areas
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and delivery platforms
- Background check and drug screen required
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
