Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of packages and documents to designated addresses within Virginia Beach.
- Professional loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring cargo security.
- Verifying delivery addresses and obtaining electronic signatures or proof of delivery.
- Providing exceptional customer service and handling inquiries with a professional demeanor.
- Conducting daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintaining accurate logs of delivery activities and mileage.
- Adhering strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License (CDL not required for this role).
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow routes efficiently.
- Basic proficiency with handheld delivery devices and GPS navigation systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
