Responsibilities
- Transport packages and documents to designated addresses in Arlington and surrounding areas safely and efficiently.
- Verify recipient information and ensure packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service during each delivery interaction.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, speed limits, and safety regulations at all times.
- Complete daily delivery logs and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
- Resolve delivery issues on-site, including rerouting or redelivery notifications.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Proficient in using smartphone technology for GPS navigation and digital proof of delivery.
- Reliable transportation to and from the local distribution center.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
