Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, documents, and medical supplies across Chicagoland using company vehicles
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to ensure timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain recipient signatures
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred
- Proven experience in package delivery or logistics
- Excellent knowledge of Chicago streets and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly
