Responsibilities
- Safely transport time-sensitive packages and documents to Mesa locations and surrounding areas
- Verify delivery details and obtain recipient signatures for accountability
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and real-time GPS tracking updates
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and route communications
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness/maintenance standards
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona driver's license with minimum 2 years' clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and navigate stairs with packages
- Proficiency with smartphone navigation apps and basic delivery software
- Strong time management skills with consistent punctuality
- Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable personal vehicle with valid insurance (mileage reimbursement provided)
- Pass background check and mandatory drug screening
- Knowledge of Mesa street grid and Valley Metro area preferred
