Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver time-sensitive packages and documents to designated locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain proper signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure efficient, on-time deliveries while adhering to traffic laws
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and provide exceptional service
- Load/unload packages securely and verify shipment contents before transit
- Assist with warehouse operations when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore City streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
