Responsibilities
- Safely transport packages, medical supplies, and time-sensitive documents across Boston and surrounding areas
- Optimize delivery routes using GPS technology to maintain tight schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations at distribution centers
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Boston geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
