Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for timely package/document delivery across Charlotte metro area
- Optimize daily routes using GPS technology to maximize efficiency and minimize delays
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain proper customer signatures
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-shift and report maintenance needs promptly
- Handle fragile, high-value, and temperature-sensitive shipments with specialized care
- Provide real-time delivery updates through mobile tracking system
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery exceptions
- Represent company brand through professional appearance and courteous interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and navigate stairs/uneven terrain
- Proficient with smartphone navigation apps and basic tech devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Knowledge of Charlotte geography a major plus
