Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on various routes across the United States.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload freight efficiently while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo securement procedures.
- Ability to operate in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving history.
