Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles safely and efficiently within the Raleigh area.
- Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and digital paperwork in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service at every delivery stop.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Manage time effectively to meet daily route schedules and KPI targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Reliable transportation to and from the terminal.
