Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery truck to designated routes throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and security of goods.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while interacting with customers.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable local driving experience.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for change making and inventory counting.
- Strong knowledge of the Greater Philadelphia area geography.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
