Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on designated routes in and around Los Angeles.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand tools, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and medical exam certificate.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
