Responsibilities
Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) in a safe, legal, and professional manner at all times.Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety regulations.Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required federal paperwork.Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols.Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean MVR record.Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road conditions, and safety regulations.Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
