Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in a professional manner.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and comply with all DOT regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Navigate efficiently through various terrains and weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift and handle freight packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
