Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document findings accurately.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight using straps and chains.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws at all times.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid Green Card holder (required for DOT compliance).
- Strong knowledge of highway map reading and GPS navigation systems.
