Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and professional conduct.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (Otr preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Basic understanding of cargo handling and safety regulations.
