Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various road conditions and terrains.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety standards.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT) and records of service.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and map reading.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
