Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks to deliver freight on time and within budget.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere strictly to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and delays.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the company on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) required.
- Current DOT Medical Certificate (Physical).
- 1-2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally during loading and unloading.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
