Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on local and regional routes within the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies to minimize risk and downtime.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Log Book/ELD rules and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Ability to handle physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing into the cab.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends as required.
