Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT/ELD) and all required documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
