Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and comply with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel during pickups and deliveries.
- Safely load and unload cargo using forklifts and hand trucks as needed.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules including nights and weekends.
