Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and time windows.
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members at all times.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen certification.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Willingness to undergo company-sponsored CDL training if currently holding a learner's permit.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
