Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight on time and in perfect condition.
- Complete and maintain accurate daily logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Must possess a Hazmat endorsement (preferred but not required).
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
- Willingness to work varying schedules including nights and weekends if necessary.
