Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to maintain safety standards and DOT compliance.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading procedures to ensure cargo integrity and security.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and other team members regarding routes and schedules.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record with no DUI or reckless driving convictions in the last 5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
