Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to transport goods across the Southeast region.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records in strict accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo with precision to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, delivery schedules, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving) in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as business needs arise.
