Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials to prevent damage.
- Interact professionally with customers, including verifying deliveries and obtaining signatures.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with company policies.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning.
- Excellent time management and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required.
