Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on designated routes in and around Colorado Springs.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper securement of cargo.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete necessary logbooks.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by delivering goods on time and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and truck interior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record (MVR check will be conducted).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
