Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safely load and unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklifts as required.
- Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner while adhering to all traffic laws.
- Manage and maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving delivery issues efficiently.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized to maintain a professional image.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive motions.
- Strong knowledge of local Baltimore area streets and traffic patterns.
- Proficient in using handheld delivery scanners and mobile technology.
