Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles following established routes and schedules
- Load/unload merchandise using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Adapt routes efficiently to accommodate delivery changes and delays
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
