Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and daily logs.
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays or issues to dispatch immediately.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the company's brand to customers and the public.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service (HOS), and pre-trip inspection procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties as needed.
