Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on regional and long-haul routes throughout the Pacific Northwest.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and secure cargo according to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (medical card required).
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road signs, and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management, navigation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
