Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and tractor-trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring securement.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation (ELD/HOS).
- Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delays.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
