Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records compliant with FMCSA regulations.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Ensure the cargo is secured and protected during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Familiarity with cargo securement (tiedowns, straps).
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
