Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated professionals who take pride in safe driving and customer service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the East Coast and Midwest.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip to ensure mechanical safety and proper maintenance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while on the job.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of pre-trip and post-trip inspection procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle cargo manually.
