Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely and efficiently operate Class A commercial trucks on regional and long-haul routes.
- Cargo Handling: Securely load, unload, and handle freight, including flatbed and dry van operations.
- Route Planning: Adhere to delivery schedules and navigate efficiently using GPS and road maps.
- Maintenance & Inspections: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Documentation: Accurately complete logbooks, delivery receipts, and delivery status reports.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and dock personnel at delivery sites.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License is required (or ability to obtain through our training program).
- Driving Record: Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations or DUIs within the last 7 years.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read and write English.
- Eligibility: Must be 21 years of age or older and pass a drug screen and background check.
- Attitude: Motivated, team-oriented, and willing to undergo paid training.
