Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers over various road conditions.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or pallet jacks as required.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and manage delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Pass a background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass a physical abilities test.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
