Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport goods to designated destinations in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR) and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and comply with all FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and safety protocols are followed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor while representing the company brand on the road.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
