Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and commercial motor vehicles in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Load, secure, and unload cargo accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate driver logs (ELD) and paperwork as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding cargo status and delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of Georgia routes and logistics hubs.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
