Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks over various terrains and weather conditions.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight by planning routes and monitoring schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all required DOT paperwork accurately.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSA).
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
