Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers on interstate and local routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly.
- Maintain accurate logs in the Electronic Logging Device (ELD) at all times.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, and customer needs.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT drug screen clearance.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record check.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
