Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) to deliver freight to customers on schedule.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately and securely, ensuring no damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR or local driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no recent DUI/DWI or major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
