Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within California
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Deliver freight to distribution centers on strict timelines
- Document delivery reports and handle paperwork accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification
- Proven ability to handle multi-stop routes in urban areas
- Familiarity with CA highway systems and port operations
- Strong communication skills and customer service focus
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
