Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) for multi-state deliveries
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and pre/post-trip inspection protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Represent NYC Logistics with professionalism in customer interactions
- Perform minor preventative maintenance checks and report issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with NYC traffic patterns and Northeast corridor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong time management and communication skills
