Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A) safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Manage cargo loading and unloading procedures with care and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers along the route.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle mechanics.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and dispatch updates.
