Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on designated routes and highways.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying delivery documents and accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) and logbooks in strict adherence to DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Represent the company professionally and maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class A) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and physical examination certificate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of interstate and intrastate traffic laws.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
